La plaza historic hotel & restaurant has a charming suite with a small kitchen and living space. The breakfast was delicious, and it's close to three beautiful mountain ranges. We had a very good breakfast included in the price of the room.

Quirky accommodation with marvellous location in a cute sitting area. Toast and cereals served for breakfast.

incredibly comfortable and cozy room, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. plenty of supplies in the room: climate control, multi-channel tv and an iron. excellent meal and excellent service. everything wonderful. location just next door to walsenburg, a great restaurant, and the adjoining cafe. for shots visit sarti's bar, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

The Victorian charm of the hotel made us feel right at home, with beautifully restored furnishings.

The trains passing by every couple of hours were a bit disruptive. I appreciated the warm atmosphere and the quaint decor. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh local ingredients.

Perfect for a quick family getaway

There was a cozy ambiance that reminded me of our family dinners, and the breakfast spread was just out of this world. We had homemade pastries with eggs and sausage, it reminded me of I was back at my mom's kitchen.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was acceptable for the experience we had.

Charming hotel, cozy room, with a good breakfast spread that included pastries, fruit, and eggs to start the day right.

The dining experience was highlighted by a fantastic patio lunch with delicious pizza paired with Cline Pinot Noir, all comfortably served by the attentive Brian among beautiful garden flowers. While the pleasant outdoor atmosphere is a joy in fall, the indoor decor reflects a charming historic ambiance that adds character but could benefit from a bit more consistency in service during peak times. The Wi-Fi connection fell short, which impacted connectivity , but overall, the experience was enjoyable.

After a long drive through a thunderstorm, I arrived at La Plaza somewhat late. The funky lobby immediately drew me in. I found my room small yet cozy, decorated with vintage charm. The common area upstairs had games and books I appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight-lots of delicious options served early to accommodate my plans. It. The outdoor patio dining was perfect on a sunny day, and the staff were cute. The train noise throughout the night took some getting used to. Wi-Fi was spotty at times, but that didn't overshadow the character of the place. This hotel offered an experience that felt personal, including coffee available outside the room and good dinners in the evening. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back for the character and charm.

This place is a cute little hotel in a stylish building. 😊 It's in a fantastic spot right by the Plaza and close to Pueblo and another city.
